Manufactured Home Inspections

November 17th, 2010

Manufactured Home Inspections is important to get  these right.  They are more difficult to inspect than homes on slabs.  They are prone to leaking and trapping water under the home.

Went to the training today and it was very interesting.  If I did not have anything else going, this would be a cool job.  You have 24 hours to deploy and reach the  site.  Then you are assigned three days of projects.  Can’t talk any more today – More later.

Veterans Discount

November 11th, 2010

I got a call from a Veteran today that is now working for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.  He is buying his first home and was checking prices.  I gave him the price listed and then  told him I would knock 20 % off Veterans .  I am very proud of all our Veterans.  We can not even begin to pay them back.

Housing in Houston

November 5th, 2010

Went to a luncheon yesterday on the economic forcat of Houston and the Nation.  The good news is that Houston faired much better that the rest of the Nation, but I think we all new that anyway.  The market is saturated with inventory at the moment and it will take several years to get back to where we originally were.  The government just has to stop spending money.  More later or follow me on facebook.com/Houston.Home.Inspector
